 “Human Rights, Close to Home"

A Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Sunday, October 28, 2018 

4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Registration, displays, and music 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Program begins at 5:00 p.m.

Location: Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, Big Ten Ballroom C, 219 S Harrison Rd, East Lansing, MI 48824 (map below). Parking passes provided. 

Keynote Speaker: Chrysula Winegar, Senior Director, Communications & Special Initiatives at the United Nations Foundation and community manager for Global Moms Challenge

Presentation of Awards:

Arthur H Vandenberg Award: Dr. David Wiley, for promoting international understanding, respect and cooperation

Global Goals - Local Leaders

Jane White, Director and Founder of MI Human Trafficking Task Force 

Will Lawrence, Co-founder Sunrise Action, Climate Change Activist
